Happy Monday - Orange Chicken

My coworkers and I talk a lot about food. We recommend good places to eat and yummy food to buy, especially things we find at our neighborhood Trader Joes. In fact, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have discovered that their their mac & cheese and chicken tamales are SO good. I like their frozen foods better than anything else because they taste fresh and look homemade and feel less processed.

Anyway, one day at lunch one of my coworkers asked me if I had tried TJ's Orange Chicken. I said I hadn't and my first thought was "why would anyone get orange chicken at TJs??" But she said it was really good. One weekend I was shopping at TJs and I stumbled upon Trader Ming's Orange Chicken and right above it said something like "best product of 2010!" So how could I not buy one, right? So I "cooked" it and it was delicious!! (I know I'm kind of cheating this week since I didn't actually make anything, but this is a new meal!) It was so good that next time I was at TJs I grabbed another bag.

Trader Ming's very own...

I added broccoli and threw it over rice, and it was like I actually knew how to cook Chinese cuisine! heh...heh.

  1. James LOVES the orange chicken from Trader Joes! He always makes me buy it when we go grocery shopping. It's easy to "cook" so I like it too! :)
