I didn't think the day would come. I also didn't think I would be so surprised. BUT!!! The dreaded October 17th finally came around out of no where and I was standing face to face with my half marathon at 6:30am, with 20,000 other women, and freezing my butt off in Union Square. If that's not crazy enough, check this out - I RAN 13.1 MILES, yes, the SF hills and all it's glory. If you've been following along my (limited) updates here on this blog, you would know that I barely could run a mile without dying when I first started "training". So I am so impressed to say that I ran 13 miles (the longest I ran during my training was 5 miles). I am a firm believer that anyone (and I mean ANYONE) can do it! :) It was super fun!
Here's a video of me crossing the finish line (look out on the left, i'm wearing a pink shirt and black shorts)
finish time: 2:47; pace: 12:47 min
