The Sweetest Thing

Just as I thought, I didn't win the giveaway that I wrote about in my previous post. No surprise there. But the sweetest thing happened tonight! It was just an ordinary Monday evening - I got home from work, hit the gym (this is unusual), showered, and asked Richard what movie we got in the mail for Netflix. He said, "Michael Jackson." I'm thinking, "Sweet! We finally got it after the 'long wait' on our queue." Excited to finally watch This is It, I was humming Billie Jean as I walked towards the kitchen to prepare some dinner. Then I saw something unusual.

These two cute boxes were sitting on my cutting board!!

Me: What IS this Richard???!!?! What day is it today??!?!

Richard: I dunnooooooo...... :) What IS that? Open it! 

I have NO idea what it is. I open it and find this. AHHHH!!! He didn't!

He did. He bought me a necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs! 

There are 3 charms on my necklace and it reads richard loves hanna :) 

And a bonus!! I get pearl earrings too?!?!! <3 

He told me that it took 3 weeks for them to custom design and build the necklace. Wow, he read my mind even before I wrote about the giveaway! My husband is the sweetest. Thanks hun, you made my day.
